MDJunction - People Helping People

MDJunction to me

jpcrps"When I found MD Junction, I was in the beginning stages of RSD/CRPS. I was scared, lacked knowledge about the condition, and felt very alone.

MD Junction changed all of that for me. I found friendship and terrific information from people who had first-hand knowledge of this syndrome. It was and still is a big part of my life.

MDJ was my first step on the journey of grief; from denial to acceptance. I am now inspired to help others by sharing this amazing site and sharing my own experiences. I am very impressed that one forum site can provide hope and inspiration to people suffering from so many different conditions. I am proud to be a part of this community.

A little about me: It has recently come to light that I lived for 5 years close to a Nuclear Power Plant in Byron, IL. that leaked Tritium into the water. I believe that this was responsible for my mental health issues and my 13-yr-old daughter's rare disease Klippel-Feil Syndrome and her epilepsy. I you want to test yourself for Tritium have your doctor order a Urine Bio Assay test for Tritium. Thanks! I am a 33-yr-old, happily married mother to a 13-yr-old daughter. I have Bipolar II disorder with my major problem being the depressions. I am currently not on ANY medication as I am in my last few weeks of pregnancy. Due 4-13-11. I am doing surpriseingly well. I applied for disability in 2008 when I was doing very badly. I have been receiving disability since 2009. I actually was well enough to work a bit this fall and winter though, and feel great about that!
