MDJunction to me

Dit"I've been a grateful member here for over 4 yrs this place has changed my life of course for the better, coming to the groups has enabled me to no longer feel so alone. As a group leader for the Bipolar Support group I can relate to others and am expressing my experience strength and hope and this is very rewarding, I've also made many supportive friends here whom I talk to some daily. I used to have a lot of 'lows' since becoming member here at MdJunction I no longer have these lows." (Dit)

ORIGINAL AA SLOGANS:

Live and Let Live.
Easy Does It.
But for the Grace of God.
Think Think, Think.
First Things First

* The above Slogans are the Original Five of A.A. They are arranged in such a way that when you read the first words only it reads this way:

Live easy but think first.

"The idea that somehow, someday he will control and enjoy his drinking is the great obsession of every abnormal drinker. The persistence of this illusion is astonishing. Many pursue it into the gates of insanity or death."

a HugTo my friends in the Bipolars dealing with alcoholism support group:

I wish each and every one of you a clean, sober and safe New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Below are some quotes that reminded me of New Year's Eve, past or present.

"Listen, I'm not an alcoholic, alcoholics go to meetings. I'm a drunk, we go to parties." ~ Unknown

"You don't have a problem. You have a solution you don't like." ~ Unknown

"I urge everyone to offer their support to recovering addicts during this time of year, and to recognize that substance abuse affects people from all walks of life. For recovering alcoholics like myself, New Year's Eve threatens our chance to reclaim our lives. With support, however, recovering addicts can continue on their path to sobriety." ~ John Andrews
