MDJunction to me

"My name is Jayna and I wanted to take this opportunity to say how much MDJunction has meant to me. I always felt so alone before I joined in April of 2012. I felt like there wasn't anyone that really cared about me and what I was going through. I felt like there was no one that would truly listen to me in what I was feeling. Nobody was there for me. That is before I found MDJ!

I have found and met such good people on these forums. I never ever knew there were such compassionate people before MDJ. It's also nice to know that I can come here anytime and get support for what I am feeling. I feel like I have met some wonderful life long friends. It is also an outlet for me to try and help other people that are hurting. It gives me a good feeling inside and gives me self confidence in helping other people.

A little about me:

I am single mother of a 4 year old little girl. I have lost so much to this disease. I can no longer work and am fighting for SSI. I can't get full disability because I have not worked enough. This disease started taking over my life when I was 19. In 2007 is when I was able to start fighting it because it was finally diagnosed. I was paralized from it 4 years ago. Thank goodness I got my legs back for the most part. There are still a lot of limitations. People think that I hide behind my disease because I can't do a lot of things other people can do. I miss out on a lot. I am not hiding. I just simply cannot do it at this point in my life. I am fighting tho, so that one day I can do everything I want to do and need to do to make it.
