| A little about me: | Hi everyone. I am a grandmother of 6 wonderful babies and a mother of 3 wonderful daughters. I have a grandson that has been dx with crohns disease so I am researching that as much as possible and finding out what they can do to make it better for him. I also have several conditions that cause chronic pain. Fibromyalgia is the main one. If anyone knows about fibro they know the joy that comes with the disease. I live with my middle daughter becuz I cannot make it on my own. There is so much that I cannot do and I dont want to live like that. So I live with her and her fiance and there son. I am pretty open on my feelings, but I do shut down when Im depressed to much. I also like to joke around sometimes. My favorite things to do to help me forget about my pain (which dont always help) are play games on the computer, sometime crotchet or knit or just take time with my grandson and see his beautiful smile. |

A bad day today
Today has been not the best of days as for pain and just feeling bad. I am discouraged with my wieght and physical well being. And now to beat it all I am fighting with my drs office to get some paper work into the medical supply store so I can go outside with out someone haveing to push me around. I have finally after waiting several years getting my power chair. my dr that did the script however is the one that is holding everything up. all the drs office has to do is send in the paper work and thats that as long as they filled it out right. If only I could hit 20 again then all this would not be here. I had some of the symptoms but not like this. I have gained so much wieght. I have never been this big. I dont want to be the skinny girl down the street but I much would rather be a nice size 10 again. then I would have to break out everything and go clothes shopping. and then of course there is the chair bit again. Im damned if I do and damned if I dont.
On a brighter note my grandson is getting big and very observant. he has astonded the drs. going from 25 weeks gestation at a whopping 2.9 lbs to now being 4 months and wieghing in at a OMG 11.6 and that was a few days ago. he is gaining 1-2 oz a day sometimes less.
