| A little about me: | I am 53 and 3 weeks into Chronic Erosive Oral Lichan Planus. I was lucky to have biopsies done immediately. Trying to figure out a treatment. So far I am using licoden on my gums and a mouthwash with tacrolimus. Went to a Rheumotologist and she is testing me for HeptC. Don't know the results yet and wants me to go off all meds - prescibed and OTC thinking my meds have caused the gum issue. I only have this on my gums right now but the peridontist feels it has caused damage to other parts of my body. Says my connective tissue has been destroyed by my own immune system. Wants to "TWEEK" my immuse system down with predisone and the tacrolimus. |
