| A little about me: | I am 50 years old. I am married, with 3 adult step children and one 15 year old boy. I have colitus, Raynauds and hypo-thyroidism. I have not been diagnosed with lupus or RA yet but the symptoms fit. Saw the rheumatologist over a year ago but he is unable to conclusively diagnose me beacause of the steroids I am on for my colitus. I have had a positive A.N.A. for some time but that isn't conclusive, of course. I live every day with joint pain, muscle "burning", fatigue, plus colon pain and problems associated with colitus. I try to exercise daily (3 walks with my dogs per day as well as 1 to 2 hours on elliptical, treadmill or bike). My exercise is the only thing that keeps me sane. I am so much more susceptible to picking up every little virus/flu these days, and it keeps me under for days. I am a positive person and I keep moving forward, though. I love my work and I love my home! I am very lucky! I also love baseball! We try to go to a few different major league ball games a year. In 2011 we went to Phoenix for the All Star game (what an experience!!). |

| Good morning. I wanted to remind you to vote for the RA Warrior blog. We are now 400+ points behind first place, and we only have one week to do this!! Aren't you sick and tired of people not knowing what RA is, and saying things to you like "oh my grandmother had that in her finger", or "but you don't look sick", or "take some advil", or "its not that bad, its only arthritis", or "take a hot bath, you'll feel better"?? Wouldn't you like to shout to the world "Its RA, and here's what you need to know about it"? Wouldn't you like RA to get as much research money poured into it as diabetes, autism, and a host of other chronic diseases? YES? Then get on this site and vote!
