| A little about me: | I was diagnosed with Marfan's at the age of 9 years old. Officially told at the age of 15. My life changed at the worst time because I was going to be a freshman in highschool that next year. I am the fifth child of six and the only one with Marfan's. The support of my family has been the greatest gift. I have had a partial lobectomy of the left lung, due to my lung collasping from the blebs. I have had my mitral valve, aortic valve and ascending aortic root replaced. Now I am doing great considering just wanting to talk with others that know what I am going through on the inside. People that can really relate and say 'Oh yeah I know exactly what you mean.' With all that just let me say that I am truly blessed by God with my family, my doctors and my relationship with Jesus Christ. |
