A little about me: 50 year old female with Intracranial Hypertension. I take Diamox and Lasix to control pressure.

I have moderate to severe daily headaches, as well as neck pain, memory issues, problems with balance and ear noises.

I came here to rally others with IH to support each other, to learn from them, and to share what I know, as well as to offer whatever support I can.

"As of yet there is no ribbon for Intracranial Hypertension, so I wear this for hope. Hope for all who suffer with any disease or condition and their families and friends."

"When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years."
~Mark Twain

"It is admirable for a father to take his son fishing, but there is a special place in heaven for the father who takes his daughter shopping."

My Diary
Living with Intracranial Hypertension, DBS
I was diagnosed with Intracranial Hypertension 5 years ago. This condition is where you either produce too much spinal fluid, or don't absorb it well, and it causes raised intracranial pressure, which can lead to blindness. It causes severe headaches, neck pain, tinnitus and as I mentioned, the risk of losing vision.
