A little about me: I live in TN with 3 beautiful little boys. I am truly blessed in spite of the many health problems I COULD see as a curse.

My story really starts at birth. I believe I may have contracted Bartonella from my mother while she carried me in her womb.

Her mother as well as herself share so many characteristics that were chalked up to "personality" that scream Bartonella to me.

As a child I was diagnosed as having infantigo. This is a skin infection that happened to COVER about 1/2 of my body especially the legs.

This infection presented as lesions that would not heal. They were infected and grotesque in appearance.

I started struggling with the intense itch and scratching and attracting other mosquitoes and every kind of insect around it seemed as a young child at that point.

I believe I was about 3 when I received the diagnosis and about 12 when they finally healed and left terrible, deep, black scars.

I also started having problems with my digestion and memory that would come and go..I was easily frustrated as a child and although I had a very high I.Q. I just didn't seem like it to most.

When I was around 8 years old I started experiencing terrible back and neck/shoulder pain that was accompanied by periodic numbness in my legs, hands, and face.

This all continued and was added to in intensity when I fell while rollerskating at age 10 and either bruised or broke my tail-bone. It hurts to this day too! OUCH!

When I was a young teen and went through puberty I had no idea what "normal" was...Honestly, I think I still am a little in the dark on that one as I never really was normal at any age that I clearly remember.

I have been through a myriad of other symptoms and pain syndromes that seem to only get worse and broaden in their spectrum in bodily parts/organs etc...

I said all of that to say this..I have tasted a bit of many maladies...I can only offer support through compassion and understanding and experience.

We must love ourselves regardless of our circumstances. This allows us to love others.

I am here for you...and I need you too. Please feel free to msg me anytime if you need an ear, a shoulder, or just plain need good old fashioned conversation.

I'm treating naturally trying to get my body in better shape to tolerate the harsh medications it will take to treat this disease.
