Has anyone had a PET scan or a CT scan as followup to total hysterectomy?

I had 3 PET/CT scans after my surgery. The doctor originally told me after my surgery that he didn't think I needed any follow-up treatment or tests. He said, however, that he would present the case to the Board to see if they agreed with him. He called me after the Board met and said they recommended 4 PET/CT scans for the first year. Surgery was in February and I had the scans in June, September and November. After the third one he said it was very reassuring and I would not need any more.
