Hi!

Has any one else had this test? The doctor has told me I have a 30/70% chance that the polyps I have in my womb is cancerous. I may also have cancer of the uterus. I only found out as I started bleeding slightly. I am very scared. I have good days and bad days but now someone has told me this test really hurts, although I am having a mild anesthetic, and this has just made everything worse.

I would be grateful to hear from anyone who can maybe reassure me or at least be honest!

Thank you and a very Happy New Year to you all.

I believe that's the test I had. It was done in my dr. office and it was not bad. However, it did not show cancer. I needed a D&C, my dr. did scrappings and that's when they found cancer of the uterous.

Hope all is well with you.

Thank you for your message. I finally had the test and the doctor suggested a light, but full, anaesthetic. He removed all the polyps and sent them off for a biopsy. Thank God the result came back negative. I am now just waiting for the results of my yearly smear test. It was a very scary time but I had wonderful support from friends, family and hospital - especially my doctor.

I hope you are now well. If you ever want support - I am here.Smile

I'm am doing great. I was very lucky they found it so early. I had a hysterectomy and didn't need any other treatment. Just a lot of follow ups.
