MDJunction to me

cinderella"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

I do. I've been pulling for about 10 years and I started by eating the follicle.

I've eaten my follicles before. Surprisingly, and this might help you, was the fact that it builds up in your appendix, and can lead to complications later if it goes on for too long. The image of exploding like a balloon (not likely, but vivid! Thanks Imagination! Tongue ) helped me avoid it. If that doesn't work, try chewing on mint leaves. It's soothing, and helps your digestion as well! And it's not as gooshy as gum, it's got texture. If you try it, or anything else, let us know how it works. *hugs*
It's that sinking feeling of being alone, and it's the way it makes you screech and pulls the skin off your bones, and I can't help but think, as I pick my mouth off the floor; Will you still know me in a year?

I've stopped eating my hair I don't want my appendix blowing up LOL Only thing now that I do when I am stressed is maybe pull out a few strands of hair but then I catch myself and stop.

I used to just nip at my hair so I divide it (never eaten it)...since I liked doing that.

Very strange really....but yeah, I wouldn't suggest eating hair as I find that very discomforting when it's in my mouth (I mean any type of hair really).

Talk to me about anything, but please don't expect me to sort out your problems as I have my own.

I have Aspergers, social anxiety, some form of Tourettes and Trich. I suspect I have traces of ADHD/ADD (my two closest friends have ADHD).
