MDJunction to me

mabri"When I was diagnosed about 18 months ago with fibromyalgia, I didn't know where to turn. I got on my computer and looked for a support group where I could talk to other people with the same disease and get some help...Information, suggestions, mostly just what I can do now that I have this.....disorder/disease/syndrome...I didn't even know what to call it. I found MDJ, and yes, there was a support group for fibro. I started a post, and figured I would never get an answer. However, very quickly I was welcomed in, and became really involved in the group. I received help, support, friendship and the feeling of being truly cared about by these strangers who had become like family to me. Now, I have been here for about a year and a half...I have become a group leader, and love every minute of it. It is so wonderful to be able to help others. I still receive help and answers from the members in this group. The fibromyalgia is where I go to help, support, listen, care and even laugh. I don't know what I would do without this group." My head mostly. Sometimes around my pubic area. I used to pull out all the hair on my head, eyelashes and eyebrows included, but now I stick to mostly the crown of my head. How about you?
It's that sinking feeling of being alone, and it's the way it makes you screech and pulls the skin off your bones, and I can't help but think, as I pick my mouth off the floor; Will you still know me in a year?

I pull for the top of my head and behind my ears mostly. Sometimes I pull the hairs from my arms.

Offen at night when me and my boyfriend are cuddling and falling asleep, Mats jumpped up because I've been pulling the hair off his arms/chest and head.

I used to pull out a few of my friends' hairs when I was younger. We always used to play w/ each other's hair, and since I didn't have any they'd just dump their heads on my lap and let me go crazy. Once in a while I'd pull a hair or two out. It stopped once I realized that I'd miss out on playing w/ my friends.

Yeah, I caught myself doing that lately, too. Managed to get myself to stop because I just recently got contacts, and I want to show off my eyes Tongue
