Tourette Syndrome Explained

The precise causes of Tourette syndrome are unknown, but E.R. physician Dr. Travis Stork explains that multiple areas of the brain are involved in causing the tics....

This video is a very extreme form of touette syndrome. Regardless, if the tourettes is severe or mild, it is important to have regular doctor isits, as tourette will wax and wane, with symptoms getting worse and then better.

It is my belief that children need an advocate, usually the parent, sometimes may need special accomadation at school, may need meication help to relieve tics, so the child can focas in school, and must be protected from abuse and bullying.

Tourette syndrome can be accompanied by ADHD, OCD,and depression.
