suebaby41"I was recently diagnosed with Recurrent Breast Cancer In The Chest
Wall. I would not be able to handle it as well as I am without the
help of my MDJunction friends. It just proves to me that there are
lots of good people in this world and I am happy to be involved with
MDJunction who seems to have most of them.

Smile Hi everyone. I love bluegrass, country, classical and the "oldies." I wanted to play the piano and did get a couple years of lessons as an adult, and discovered I was good at it. I haven't tried other instruments and my piano playing is not what I want it to be. I grew up with a mother and aunt and grandmother who played piano and my grandmother also played the guitar. Much family fun in those days! Especially at family Holiday get togethers. My aunt had three boys, none musical as far as I know, but one of the boys who had adhd, created fun for himself and anxiety in everyone else when he ran back and forth across the keys.Smile

I like Oldies-from the 50's classic rock to the 80's pop rock. And I LOVE the older Country Music from the 80's and 90's. My Dad played the piano and the drums, even the left-handed accordion. I can play Silent Night 2-handed on the piano/organ. But otherwise, I have about 0.9% musical talent. ;P Every few years since I was around 5 y/o I would get a keyboard for Christmas or my B-day, but no one would teach me to play it so I just banged on the keys. LOL... Maybe I should buy one of those floor keyboards then I can get my exercise while I bang, or run across, the keys? HAHA

Hmm, yes my favorite past time, running across the keys and "strings" ;o) That would have been me.. I listen to all kinds of music. But I really want to explore methods of relaxation in my life this week.. so I'm thinking David Lanz with some Jim Brickman toped off with an hour or so of a long drifts across the the keys and the circle of fifths with George Winston, "Thanksgiving" would be nice. Go to YouTube and try them..
I hope you find the peace in your day that you are looking for.
Best Regards
Bret

Have you ever heard of Michael Talbot? Talk about relaxing.
