MDJunction to me

Macv"For me, MDjunction has been a place where I can share my experiences
living with the very rare bone disease called Ollier's ( Enchondromatosis ) with the parents of children recently diagnosed. I can help them not to run
into the pitfalls my parents did when I was young, give them a bit of a view
from their child's perspective and simply be there to offer support and
hope to people who are scared and just had their lives upended. I also belong to a chronic pain group and it's been a Godsend to be able to actually
talk with others who understand what I'm dealing with. Besides them helping me through my tough times, I can be there to help them as well. Here too, I can use my years of experience to help others avoid pitfalls and it makes me feel good, gives my life more purpose. MDjunction brings people
together when their suffering, at their darkest and feeling alone in this world and allows some light to be brought back into their lives. HOPE, that's what
MDjunction means to me!

Thank you , Dragonfly, for the above information.

I think I could deal with my thyroid malfunctioning but now have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia also .

Between the two, some days I think I m going to lose what mind I have left. I think I could deal just fine with one or the other but whew, both together, set me on my butt some days .

Wishing you happy and painless days ... {{{HUGS}}} Auntie3285

Hi Dragonfly ...

I don t suffer from the sore throats that you mentioned but I DO have terrible bouts of fleghm (sp) first thing most mornings and have realized it s probably not from sinus as I originally thought.

Everyone tells me I definitely do not look my age and I truly want to feel younger (who doesn t) but I am almost at wits' end trying to cope with these maladies. I ve never been one to be ""sick"" but I never know from one day to the next anymore what I ll feel like when I wake up in the mornings and I don t like that.

Thanks for listening ... Auntie

I know what you mean. I never know how I am going to feel when I get up in the morning. I hate when I feel like I cant even get out of bed. It makes life hard sometimes.

I am always here for you when ever you need to talk.
