Hi all! I haven't been around much because I've been working hard lately on a work project. I switched careers last year and became a full-time writer and photographer. Cuisine is one of my favorite topics, and I was hoping to break into food writing. I'm happy to announce that I just completed a collection of 275 recipes (with 30 photos) for the low-iodine diet that we're subjected to for thyroid cancer treatment. If you're interested in a particular type of meal or dish, feel free to ask if I've already developed a recipe for it, or if you need help 'converting' an existing recipe you may have to a LID-compliant version. Thanks to this exhaustive project, I've learned a LOT about how to make this diet really tasty, and would love to share these discoveries with anyone who is interested.
