Hello everyone.. I am new to this group and I need some feedback..I am having surgery on sept 9,the problem is that I also received a job offer and they want me to start on the 15th.. Am I crazy to think I will be ready to start working...

I have waited o long for the job, but I know that I first have to feel well.. Anyone?????

Please help me by telling me about your own experiences with this subject...

I am so sorry you are recieving this response way too late!! I am just hoping that you made out ok with your job and surgery being so close together. I wish I would have been able to tell you a month ago that rushing into a new job so soon after surgery would have been difficult. I went back to work ten days after my thyroidectomy and was so exhausted and brain weary that it was a stupid thing to do. I didn't have enough thyroid hormone replacement yet in order to think clearly. Please let me know how you made out. Smile
