Hi Ton1970;

Yes I have some of the same symptoms. I didn't have my spleen removed but I do have nerve damage (small fiber polyneuropathy) Fibromyalgia because of TTP. It's been 2yrs for me.I was just complaining to my doctor about being chronic fatigue and he said it goes along with fibromylagia. i about to try water therapy to see it that helps. Have you been tested for nerve damage or fibromylagia?

I read some TTP survivor stories that and no one is ever the same. Hope you find so...

Hi all,

Went to see my OB/GYN and I know something was wrong. Just keep it to myself this time everyone feels like I over react to things when it comes to my health. Anyway I have to have a full hysterectomy probably next month. Due to my fibroids have come back and are really large. And they have done everything else over the last 8yrs to stop my femine problems so this is the last result. First I have to have an ultrasound done and see a urologist about my bladder linking. If their is somet...

I have had issues with my memory. Constantly writing notes (when i remember to!). Long term memory is ok, but do forget some of the things that I have done. I do have problems with names and fast responses. I used to be able to come back with a quick response that now I seem to have to really think about it. I work in the Emergency Dept and have to recall names of co-workers daily to remember their names. Seem to be off in space most of the time but that is usually me trying to remember names.
It will not show up in a blood test. I would worry yourself it's usually not genetic like that. I think i could be wrong because it's so rare there is no way to know right now. but continue to research because things change over time so new inform can come about. Remember we are not doctor's on here so this is just my opinion. But I do know you will not know until it hits you their are no pretest to detect it. Hope this help at least a little....

Yeah, I've been where you're at before. Yes - you do worry constantly - but He's watching... Its good to hear that she's doing phyresis :) That can be really a blessing :)My husband now only has 1 kidney that functions at 66% capacity; he's had all kinds of things wrong due to TTP - not to mention the multiple times his platlets fell below 10K. He has some auditory processing issues and short term memory problems from the TTP, but he does quite well; he also has a limited diet becau...

Debbie keep coming and letting it all out. It's a healthy way to grief. The blanket is a beautiful and very touching thing thank you for sharing. Your are always in my prayers. And crying to me is another way of healthy grieving and letting the kids especially boys know it's ok and healthy to cry. So if you need to do it. God created us to cry so why not if you have to. Be Bless my friend and much love to you and your family....
