Hi my name is Karina. Im 21 years old and new to this group. I dont know if i qualify as a "pregnant teen" but i feel really unprepared and young to have a baby. I dont have a job. I used to have my own place but lost it since living expenses were so high and my fiance(Nathan)sat on his ass all day and i worked. Now im living at Nate's mom's basement. My old school armenian father doesnt even know im pregnant yet cuz i have to be married to nate before i announce it. Dont have a car. Dont have friends. Dont have support from Nathan's side of the family cuz they all hate me. Nate doesnt understand my hormones and my needs and runs away from his problems by being a workaholic. He even doubted he wanted to marry me cuz my pregnancy has changed my mood so much, even though i have been engaged to that prick for a year and a half. You would think a man 8 years my senior would be more mature. nope. and im pregnant with my first. I have a history of depression, not much support from family and friends and a high risk pregnancy. I moved to Johnstown, PA to carry out my 2nd trimester with Nathan where he has been living for the past year. Hopefully, we can move home to Los Angeles in time for baby to be born in February. Not alot of people to talk to here in Johnstown, and nothing to do either. I am having so much trouble with this pregnancy- physicaly, emotionaly and mentaly- that I know I need support from women who are facing the same emotions and problems as I am. |
