MDJunction to me

2steveb" In life we all have trials and tribulations to endure weather it be physical, mental or social. For me personally when i encountered MDJunction i was astounded. Since i joined MDJunction to me it has been a god send and a life saver. I have met and been able to converse freely with so many people in the same situation as myself, (that alone is a big help, to know your not alone) to be able to discuss and get good advice from a braud section of people. One of lifes hardest things is to discuss personal issues with friends/family and yet the mdj family is non judgmental and you will be made totally welcome to talk through any issue thats on your mind. There are forums for every known issue to mankind, to me MDJ.com has become my family extension, id be lost without these good people and the extremely good guide lines that group leaders help us all with to keep threads topical and friendly." So i have picked out the baby name, just a few problems.

His name is going to be Kylan Michael Parker. but parker is my last name since the daddy and i broke up not to long ago i figured things would be better off in the long run if he had my last name.

i'm just not sure how to tell the babies daddy that he is going to have my last name not his, any advice on how to tell him?

Hey,

My son's getting my last name also. I just straight up told the father of my baby. We were actually still dating when I told him. I never planned on keeping his dad's last name since we weren't married and I knew I'd be the sole provider for my son. Does he expect your son to have his last name? There's really not many ways to tell him lol.. I guess you could just be like "It's just a name, and if the situation changes between us and we end up getting back together and one day getting married names can be changed."

Probably didn't help much, but I tried! lol

well thank you, i just thought of it one day and fell in love with it.

and yeah, if something happens and we actually get back together and get married his last name could easily be changed.

I agree, the name is very cute, and if he is not going to support you and the baby by having a relationship with both of you, then he is not entitlled to anything. The baby should get the last name of the people that are his family.
