Teen Pregnancy Support Group

Hi! My name is Rhianna and I'm new here. About a month ago i was raped by my ex. I was too scared to tell my mom but if I do find out I'm pregnant i will tell her. Last week i was supossed to start my period but it never came, instead I felt extremly tired, insanely moody (scary...lol), my face started breaking out, and I was a bit nausus when I thought about eating. I usually start cramping 3 days before my period but this didnt happen so I was a bit worried. I was also worried about how tired I was because it was not normal at all for me. I began to think I may be pregnant and I told my boyfriend (he knew about my rape) and he told his mom everything and she told him she would help in anyway she could. When i get back in Texas from vaction Tuesday he is going to bring me a test when he comes to see me.

But tusday night when I was on the phone with him I started getting really bad cramps right below my stomach. They were so bad I couldnt help but whine. I felt like I was bleeding so I went to check and when i wiped there was brown blood just a little bit though. The cramps contined all night but only with spotting of brown blood. Then the next day (yesterday) the blood turned to a dark red and got heavier. Starting last night and through today I have passed several clots about the size of a nickle.

I talked to my boyfriends mom and she said if i was pregnant it may just be stress or a miscarrige. I have been stressing A LOT about if I'm pregnant or not.

What do you guys think is going on? I really appriciate any help I get..I would really like some type of anwser

i think it was probably just that your period was late because you'd been through so much and then your period came. i know my periods can be clotty and that's totally normal sometimes. on the other hand, it could've been a miscarriage. i doubt that if there was that much blood that it's just normal pregnancy bleeding though. so either you've had a miscarriage or you weren't pregnant in the first place. i don't really think it sounds like the type of bleeding you would have during a pregnancy. i'm not a doctor of course, and so you would be better off seeing one and having them give you their opinion. but there's not a lot they can do about it unfortunately. <3

It kinda sounds like a miscarriage and in that case you need to go to the doctor to make sure your body is ok. I know that sometimes things can go wrong and they just need to make sure you are all ok.

yah, what kikchik and chipsbaiigul said could both possibly be the right answer.. usually pregnancy bleeding is spotting...not heavy bleeding...but i have heard stories that some women do have a period. I didnt have a period for 2 months and i thought i was pregnant again but finally when i got back to my moms house after moving and being so stressed my period came and it was really heavy and i had lots of clotting. i knew i was pregnant cuz i was taking tests every 2 wks. so it could really be that u were so stressed from everything it messed your cycle up...id still go see a doc though.

Thanks for your anwsers everyone! When I get back I am going to take a test because i heard somewhere that the hormones will stay in your body for a while after a miscarrige, so you test will still come out pregnant if you were. If it does come out pregnant i will try to go see a doctor.
