Lately Ava has been throwing tantrums over everything. I don't mean just crying for a few minutes I mean kicking the legs, twisting the body, and screaming at the top of her lungs.

It is mainly from me not holding her when she wants me to and putting her in her car seat.

Any advice on how to calm this!?! Sad

Just ignore her. That way she'll now that tantrums are not the way to get what she wants. I never give into Brayden's tantrums and slowly they're becoming less and less lol.

Oh gosh Stormi. Emily has been throwing tantrums since about 6 months. She throws herself down and screams and now she bites and slaps.. It's so terrible I always wonder where she learned it. Anyways I agree with Meaghan. Just ignore her. I make sure Emily is in a place where she can't get hurt and step away and don't pay attention to her until she stops screaming. If we are getting in the car seat I just give her something to distract her because I can't drive with her screaming hahah but yea it sucks

I tyr to just walk away, but she follows me! Haha. Literally, I will leave her in her room or wherever I am (besides public places) and she will get up and follow me around and keep crying. I don't like this stage of her infancy! She used to be so independent and not need me to hold her, and now its like she can do NOTHING on her own!

Its getting rather frustrating.
