Stuttering Support Group

Thanks for these replies Kelly3 and billhargis! It confirms what I suspected. Hopefully I will have some good news for my little boy sometime this summer though I'm dealing with some other health issues so whether I can or should get pregnant is a bit up in the air! Have to consult my lupus doctor first about some recent eye raising bloodwork I had done recently before we start trying. Sigh. Still it's nice to know that if I do get pregnant it would be likely a positive thing for my son rather than an extra burden for him. Thanks!!!!

If your dream is to have another baby, do it! The having siblings is nothing but a benefit to us stutterers. The more friendly people you have around you to love and support you in your life is always the best choice. I have 2 brothers, 2 step-brothers, and a step-sister and they all are very loving and supportive and understanding about it. I have never thought having them in my life was added stress that made my stutter worse. I think you should have several more babies so your kid has a huge family of support. More the merrier right?
