Stress Management Support Group

So today is the big day I guess. Will determine what my summer looks like... Kinda nervous, but plugging along. Just trying to focus on things that don't make me upset (see latest diary entry). I just have to make it through this week, and then everything will calm down.

How is everyone else doing?

Random Fact: I sang the song Manic Monday by the Bangels at a tallent show when I was in middle school (I altered the words so I wasn't talking about my "lover").

I didn't get the internship. They said they were "unable to offer me an internship at this time" didn't give a reason, but I know it was because of Goliath...At least now it doesn't matter too much if I get the apartment, I have no where to work anyway...

Oh Jen, I'm so sorry! I know this is really a let down, but God has something for you that will be even better!

I have decided not to be upset about it. I'm more than qualified for that job, and am a dedicated worker, it is there loss. Forget them, with my credentials I can get more money an hour than they were offering, I just wanted the experience. I'll find something better.

In brighter news...I got the apartment!!! The landlord LOVED Goliath. I put the deposit down, we move in on the 1st (have to get gas etc set up, and she has to get some stuff out) but we are allowed to keep some of our stuff there instead of having to haul it all back upstate and then back down in 2 weeks. We are very excited. Time to start looking for other job prospects, Dave has an interview tomorrow, hopefully that goes well (especially since the wage come out to be almost $500 a week).
