I know that doctors get a kick-back for every prescription they write. But should THAT be their incentive for writing them? What happened to helping the sick. I know we all have our theories about the "business" of medicine. It sickens me. Both my husband and I feel that "they" are keeping us sick with all the over-medicating. And most recently, we had a terrible experience...My husband who has BP, and a sever back injury, and has had several concussions/TBI's...and who was on so many pills at one time. They were reacting with one another, which resulted in him having some dangerous side effects. And to make matters worse, when we told his GP about these effects, he prescribed yet, another pill to treat a side effect. Do you see the problem with that sentence?  a pill is MEANT to treat SYMPTOMS...not the side effects from other pills!!!!
So, I am making this statement, in public, and not afraid to say it. "HEY PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES!!! What is the Truth? This (I tried to upload a photo, but it was too many pixels. But take my word for it, it looked like a bowl of jelly beans) is my dear husband's breakfast, again for lunch, and repeated for supper. PLUS, 2 for pain, and a sleep medication. What is the world coming to? What is Your AGENDA???
