Hello All, I must say I am a little bummed out to have found someone on a different forum saying that they didn't tell us the whole truth about their relationship...

Several lies were exposed based on what was told here and what was told on the other forum...

I am only bringing this up because if you want help you have to be 100% honest about the good bad and ugly...Thats the only way true change will allow you to heal and recover.

You can't come here and tell half truths and expect wise counsil because how is anyone supposed to help when they hear "partial truths?"

Please be aware people take time out of their lives to help you with yours and they are happy to do so but please out of respect for them remember to be honest....

Thanks all!Tongue

First, I want to say that I have no idea who/what you are talking about but I am sorry if you were hurt by someone's actions.

I have no idea what this person was lying about, but I would like to remind all of us that even though this is "cyber space" some of what people have lived through is hard to tell people. Also, I may be more comfortable telling one group something that I haven't told another group.

Another point that is worth sharing is that some things that people have lived through is tough, hard, shameful, embarassing.

Especially abuse. A lot of people are afraid to talk about abuse. There are many reasons for that but a couple that I can think of right away is they are ashamed of "letting" it happen to them, or they are afraid they won't get advise, just told to RUN, FAST.

I just want us all to be aware that everyone has lived a different life. But I do agree that it is hard to give the best advice you have, if you aren't knowing the full truth. Also, sometimes to tell the WHOLE truth would take years.

Well said, and I would like to add that it is IMPOSSIBLE to retype every detail accurately multiple times, when speaking in two separate forums. I do the same thing, depending on what the conversation is about. It may call for different details.

But I am NOT saying that people don't lie...nor am I condoning telling lies.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can, and
Wisdom to know the difference.
Just For Today.
If you need medical or psychological help...don't ask me because I'm a nut.
I'm NOT an authority on ANY of the issues.
I AM, however still learning, and always will be.
