First, I want to say that I have no idea who/what you are talking about but I am sorry if you were hurt by someone's actions. I have no idea what this person was lying about, but I would like to remind all of us that even though this is "cyber space" some of what people have lived through is hard to tell people. Also, I may be more comfortable telling one group something that I haven't told another group. Another point that is worth sharing is that some things that people have lived through is tough, hard, shameful, embarassing. Especially abuse. A lot of people are afraid to talk about abuse. There are many reasons for that but a couple that I can think of right away is they are ashamed of "letting" it happen to them, or they are afraid they won't get advise, just told to RUN, FAST. I just want us all to be aware that everyone has lived a different life. But I do agree that it is hard to give the best advice you have, if you aren't knowing the full truth. Also, sometimes to tell the WHOLE truth would take years. |
