I tend to be in to Scifi and fantasy. My favorite book of all time is Silverlock by John Myers Myers. It was written in the 40s. It is about a guy ship wrecked on the Literary Commonweath, so he runs across all kinds of literary characters like Beowolf, Robin Hood, etc.

I have 3 books from the library sitting here. Garden Wisdom, Antiques & Collectibles, and Treehouses. That's what sparked my curiousity last time I was at the library. What kind of non-fiction books do you like, lifeishard?

Oliver Sacks' THe Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat and An Anthropologist on Mars. These are both easy to read collections of case studies in neurology. Each case involves some brain malfunction that gives the patient a very different subjective experience.

Keen to see recommendations from others.

Ack! I should be more careful in my reading. I skipped right over the NON part and jumped straight to Fiction. Smile

It is beautiful! Tree houses around the world. A client of ours gave it to us after we finished her job. Some days I want to pack up and move into one of them. It reminds me of a book my boys have called "We were tired of living in a house".

Funny enough I have not read that many nonfiction books (or any books for that matter...except chemistry books) Laughing Shocked I guess I was looking for some recommendations! For some reason I have this mental block that if I am going to spend time reading I have to learn something...I am thinking I may need to expand my horizons... Smile

Oh that reminds me...a swim coach recently recommended "The Talent Code".

I was given a book called "Heaven is for Real". The story of a little boy who gave accounts of his visit to heaven when he almost died of a burst appendix. Very interesting.
