Spouses of Bipolar in Active Relationships

For any new people reading this, you will need a little background here. My husbands pdoc's voice and mannerisms are exactly like the Church Lady's from Saturday Night Live. He's a very ineffective "dr." and has treated my husband like a child, me like my husband's mother, and has recommended that my husband quit school, stay sedated on seroquel, until he is stable. We actively looked for another dr. but were unsuccessful due to the shortage of dr.'s who take our insurance and the shortage of dr.'s in general.

So anyway, we received this letter today saying church lady is leaving the clinic to pursue other career opportunities, like what? Doing sign language at events? (he likes to gesture as he speaks, like putting his hands together up to the side of his head to gesture that seroquel makes you sleepy) I think he would make a great Walmart greeter. "hello ma'm, good-bye ma'm" "now you just get on out of here and have a great day!"

He gave 3 names of other dr.s we can contact, so hopefully they will take us, I'm thinking one of them will have to seeing how CL is abandoning us, THANK GOD!!! Wish us luck in getting someone normal!

Hey wife, I already saw church lady when he went to interview and try out for his next position.... I drove up slowly in front of him, as he blew his whistle and motioned for me to drive forward, while holding out his other hand to stop oncoming traffic in the other lane. He looked just like a toy soldier in his crossing guard uniform.....

Wife, I spotted Church Lady on the Boston Common. I guess he has decided to go all out with his flamboyant gesturing---he has become a MIME!!!!

perfect!! I think he's down at the local senior center leading everyone in the chicken dance!

Early this morning my husband and I went down to the Dunkin' Donuts Shop and there was old church lady himself..... trying to explain to the patrons what they could all expect when visiting the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus. He was standing with one foot on the bubble gum machine, while balancing a cup of coffee on his nose, and juggling 3 glazed donuts....

I heard he is peddling seroquel door to door for anyone who might be having difficulty with headaches or arthritis and telling them to stay sedated until they feel better. Oh, and also advises them to quit work, school or whatever else they think they can do with these afflictions.

Hey, I just saw CL on a TV commercial. He was telling anyone who was in school to QUIT if it was too much for them and they couldn't handle it

Yeah, it was a commercial for the home sleeping course. All you need to do is take this pill, seroquel, 3x/day, and sleep, sleep, sleep your life away. At least you will never be angry and that's what life is all about, not being angry!
