I am 24 years old and have a little girl with spina bifida who is 4 and i am looking to talk to people that understand the lifestyle teh confusion when to let your little one be more independant and just not feel like our family is alone Cool

Hi Sara,

I would be glad to talk to you any time if you have questions or concerns. Here is a place that might help,Evergreen Spina Bifida Group, Ed the leader is a great guy. As far as knowing when to let go well if you give your littleone a strong foundation and let her do things in her own way then I think that will help you and her. I didn't have that when I was growing up my parents wanted me to be normal. You may need to push her a little to.
