MDJunction to me

fluffyluggage"I found MDJunction at a time when I was struggling with so much. I
was so sick. I found a home, a place where people understood me, when
even my family doubted me. In MDJ, I found a place of refuge, love,
and support. I come here daily, to find my balance, to cope, and to
find that same support I've found from day 1. MDJ is my new family.
The friends I've made here will remain with me for a lifetime.

Employed but that could be a real problem............

I just got awarded SSDI and I am working now at a ob I hate and would be making to much at to continue my SSDI at my 6 month review. My lawyer tells me that if I quit this will look badly at my review. How much will the harass the the former employer and what are they allowed to know about termination?

Second Benefits or my children.......................

I keep trying to make since out of this and I am lost. I pay child support now for a 14/15. I have tried to read the law but it is confusing are they entitled to collect benefits "separate" from my monthly award or will it be subtracted from mine? If benefits are paid to them monthly in addition to my award will this be credited against my monthly child support... or again does that just come out of my benefits?

I would appreciate concise answers first I am simple minded. Second any direct information links would be great!

Thank you

What ever you get for your kids, lets say 400 each a month "just an example" for a total of 800 a month, the parent that has custody of the kids will get those checks for your kids, if you have custody then you get the checks for them, yoyr payout is totally seperate from theres, any back pay for kids will also go to guardian as far as i know, but you may get the initial back pay since you have been paying child support for them, ask your SS rep about back pay check for your kids since you have been paying there chuld support, im sure your intitled to it. As ling as there un school and up to the age 19 they get a SSDI check , but if they quit school i think the checks stop, also if they get married before 19 or out of school the check stops as well. Just a heads up. Now after age 19 when payment stops and your kida are still in colledge Child support comes out of your check, 24.5% at least that is how it is here in NY, it varies state by state.
