MDJunction to me

ThereseML"When I first came to MDJ, I was in need of peer support in dealing with issues of my childhood abuse. I was moving away from the painful issues and trying to find an uplifting group of people to help me transition to a thriver in my life. I found that here. I also found a group of peers with Fibromyalgia and found the same uplifting experience there. My computer crashed and it was a while before I found my way back, this time with issues related to Parkinson's Disease. I had tried a few other support sites before reminding myself of MDJ. On those, I never got a reply. I finally found my way back here and again found very supportive, caring and inspiring people who made me feel like I was 'back home'. Indeed I am." (ThereseML)

Hey, I have a court case with disability in about 2 weeks. I "applied" about 3 years ago and was denied twice! This time I got a lawyer to help me with my case. I know the lawyer is going to do the majority of the talking, but if the judge asks me anything, I'm wonderin what and what to say. Has anyone been to court? What kinds of things did the judge ask u? If any quesitons at all. Also, how long before the final decision was made? Please respond back in a PM please. Hope to hear from someone soon....

I was never to court for this, got mine the first time with good documentation from doctors. I would ask my lawyer these questions. He should have some idea what the judge might ask and how you should answer them. That's part of what you are paying him for.

There are lots of discussion about court hearings- selecting the 'Forum' tab, then select 'General Discussion'- when you skim down through the topics, you will see several that are about court hearings.
