MDJunction to me

fluffyluggage"I found MDJunction at a time when I was struggling with so much. I
was so sick. I found a home, a place where people understood me, when
even my family doubted me. In MDJ, I found a place of refuge, love,
and support. I come here daily, to find my balance, to cope, and to
find that same support I've found from day 1. MDJ is my new family.
The friends I've made here will remain with me for a lifetime.

myersd63 said>>> Medicare does not cover dental or eye wear. Medicaid does in most states but the procedures and choices are very limited because they will reimburse so little. Even my private dental paid only $200 for a $700 crown.True, you normally don't get a lot of bang for your bucks when it comes to dental insurance. I also still have private dental insurance Myers but it pays 50% for things like crowns after my $50 yearly deductible is met. It has a $2,000 yearly limit!

Actually, I was able to continue my dental insurance under cobra for 18 months (I pay the entire premium) but I thought long and hard about dropping it and just coming OOP for dental.

Lost my dental is nothing to ge excited about but I don't need much because I have no real teeth . I have a full upper denture and a full bottom that hooks into my two inplants to hold it in place. My teeth were bad from the get go ,my mother had TB back in the 50's . In fact she was pregenat with me when she had it. The doctors had to cut a hole in the operating table,so they could operate on her ,they had to remove half her lung. They were giving her all kinds of experimental drugs back then. Remember TB was new to them. Any way when I was born I had to live with a foster mom for about a year,my mother had to stay at the sanatorium for 3 years. So all the drugs they gave her really screwd up my teeth.
