MDJunction to me

scotty04901"MDJ to me is an added phase in my recovery as a 44 year survivor of a TBI. I hope that with what I have lived through in those years, will be able to help all those who are just now going through. It is important to understand that even after 44 yrs, I am continuing to recover and to evolve. I just hope I can help others." (scotty04901)

My experience is no substitute for sound medical advice.

April: I see. The Judge didn't feel he had enough infor at the hearing to make a decision so he asked that a SSA doctor review the record and comment. You give SSA and their agents (doctors)the right to review records. Of course they are still kept confidential.

Doing chores like self care don't constitute SGA so this shouldn't hurt your case unless you said you can't. If the doc disagreed the ALJ will have to decide who is correct and if it matters. If I were the ALJ and you said you cannod do simple chores like housework I'd want to know who helped you or how you got them done.

Cape" I don't see how SSA would know about LSAT unless you tell them. Besides I'm not sure the possibilitt of you getting admitted to Law School would hurt your case. It doesn't mean you will be accepted or be able to get through.

You usually sign that you will pay incidental expenses like copying when the case is over. If you are approved this comes out of retro. If denied you could owe it to the attorney but what can they do if you have nothing?

This is typioal in most legal cases, but some forms do not bother trying to collect.

I was asked about chores and I told them my husband does all the chores.

That sounds reasonable enough, but my point was "doing chores" in and of itself should make you ineligible.

aprilaidan, look at it this way. Your file is still active. I understand that this has worried you with this process. If I was in your shoes I maybe feeling the same way. Try to stay strong. Don't give up.
