MDJunction to me

jenniferdiva"MDJunction has been just an amazing support for me. The people who are on mdj are so nice! Unlike the many other support sites that I have been on. I have made several friends on mdj who are so supportive and so educated about mental illness. Of course non of us are doctors, but we certainly offer each other hugs, opinions, and advice. I have learned a great deal from my friends on mdjunction. I am also encouraging other people who suffer from mental illness to come on to MDJ. It can be a life line." (jenniferdiva)

Here are some examples of what you could say:

1) How has your illness changed your work ability?

My illness has changed my work ability because I am in too much pain to work, cannot concentrate or focus.

2) How do your medications affect your ability to perform your job?

My medications make me feel drowsy, dizzy and disoriented and I cannot concentrate like I should.

3) How has your illness affected your hobbies or pasttimes? I used to be able to do all kinds of crafts and hobbies but find now that I do not have the energy to do them anymore, and I feel depressed and have a lack of interest in them

4)How has your illness affected your family and or friendships? My family has had to take on more responsibility and do my chores as well as theirs, putting a huge burden on them

5) What do you do to improve your quality of life with this illness I try to eat more healthy, exercise is out of the question because of my pain. I do take all of my medications like I am supposed to.

Hope this helps some!
