I don't live in Michigan, and this is just my opinion based on what I've read from others,I wouldn't get one of those many firms you see on TV that handle cases in all states. I got a good LOCAL attorney who specializes in SSDI and SSI claims only.

Bill Gordon and Associates are really good in my opinion, yes I got a couple of my medical records but those are the ones I forgot about. All the others that I told them about they promptly got for me.

My lawyer is going to be at my hearing as promised and ya know what they haven't had a single question for me. They said that all my paperwork shows it all and shows that I DO qualify and if the judge don't see that I qualify then we are obviously going to appeal or start a new one.

Thanks Elvis and LadyCity. I was leaning more toward a local attorney who only specializes in SSI law. Just hard finding one lawyer who is really ggod at there job. Ive been through this process many times already and just need a attorney who is willing to win.
