I went to my hearing this am and went thru the ropes no problem. Other then waiting 2 years to get approved it wasnt bad at all. The waiting and getting everything in line was the worst part. They did loose my paper work and coundt give me a bench desicion but he did indicate that I was approved but it will take a couple xtra days, thats fine just as long as Im awarded. Thank God the nightmare is over for me. Thanks for your help folks and all the good info here. I will stay around to help with anything I might be able to. Again thanks and Im glad I found this forum.

My life begines again today!

Hip Hip hooray for you bustedup!! so happy to hear good news. Will you be applying for medicaid as well? I believe you already served the 2 year waiting period.

I believe I was originally told it could take 6 to 8 weeks for a decision.

Where you approved? Are you waiting on the judge's decision still?

I wasnt granted a bench desicion because they lost my paper work. The judge gave us a nod of approval. They had to get my papers in order. So Im assuming Ive been approved.
