Social Security Disability Advice Group

Finally got my SSD Hearing date set for November 2nd! I'm feeling very anxious about the unknown, now that it's here. The letter sounded mean. I hate being out of control … though you think I'd be used to by now, dealing with all my Chronic illnesses. What to do! What now? What happens btwn now & then? What will happen @ the hearing? Any tips or advice greatly appreciated, guys.

I can't remember if you have an attorney. If you do...more than likely he/she will be calling you to either visit by phone or in person about what to expect at the hearing. Otherwise, you will just show up there and go with it.

I have been through the process once and was denied so applied again and here i wait.

I wish you luck. I am new to this forum. I am on the spinal stenosis site and the peripheral neuropathy site, just found this one tonight.
