My attorney is on Vacation. I asked if I would get a verdict the day of hearing, she said no way. I will have to wait an addition 30 to 60 days for an answer.

She also said again that she thinks this judge is pregudiced against women.

I can't wait for this to end.

OMG. I feel your frustration. I gave up on my attorney and call the SS office that handles my case- their records shows my case is pending -waiting for evidence. I had a consultive exam a few weeks ago. So, now I have a direct line. Also, I been considering writing to the judge personally. Just an informative letter about a typical day-living with a disability, all its problems, and the added pressures of having no income, and stress of waiting. There is a lot of past personal post traumatic incidents that i don't think any of my providers wrote down that I know would impact my case. My friend is trying to talk me out of this. but I feel i have nothing to lose. At least I would get a lot of frustration out of my system jusk writing it down and knowing I did all I could on my own to advocte for my case.

I'm SO sorry to hear that your attorney is on vacation and couldn't directly answer your question.

You will more than likely have to wait. Unfortunately, that's the way it is with over 90% of people. But, there is always that little chance the the judge will decide the day of. Keep telling yourself- you've waited this long- you'll be okay. You can make it a few more months. You've come SO far! Hang in there.

HANG IN THERE !!!! I know how frustrating to hear the word VACAtion. Disabilities and bills don't take vacations. But think positive, maybe when the judge comes back she'll be in a better mood.

It always seems to be a few more months, then another few months.etc

This is a ridiculous way to run social security disability. The toll it takes on us all is considerable.

It's outrageous how things are run. The depression caused by all hoops we have to jump through for SSDI has gotten to the point where it's almost worse than the condition I initially applied for! That's ridiculous!

I'm close to an answer in the next month or so, but the last year and a half has been absolute hell and I will never get that time back.
