Well like the tittle says, what fuels your anxiety? in other words what are you afraid of? what is keeping you from being a fully functional member of society?

Going out with my twins and not being able to keep them in one place as they fight to run in opposite directions. Ofcourse when I go to stop my older of the two she yells out "don't hurt me mommy", way to play to the crowd. Ahhh, the stress. This was today by the way!!!

steve, like vickiem mentioned once, it's really likely that you DO like people because we're social animals. But, under stress we seem to want to disengage and man, feel like we hate the world.

lovespeonies, I want to laugh but not at you! I know the stress of kids in public.

And, YOU, vickiem, you ARE good enough and we all DO mess up sometimes.

Doing taxes this year added to my anxiety.

I guess i got another question and thats why do we care so much about what other people think? i mean in reality people dont really care that much if we do something "embarrassing" in public, people just dont really care that much, if at all,and just move on with their lives while we are stuck in that moment. And vickiem we dont owe anything to anybody to feel like we are not good enough or that we will mess up, not even our friends and families, or even if we do "owe" them something is not like their gonna hate us for it if we do "mess up" i mean making mistakes is part of life.......sooo, why do we care so much about the opinions of others?????

I was reading back on your post lovespeonies, My son had problems when he was young. One day the school called and said to come pick him up. When I arrived he was screaming and wouldn't get in the van. He was screaming "No, don't make me go, she will kill me!" Needless to say I had a social worker at my door the next day! Unsure Smile

What fuels my anxiety is the feeling of not feeling good enough, thinking that I won't say the right thing, thinking that I will freeze, and the feeling in the pit of my stomach that makes me want to turn around and RUN away from whatever is coming!!!
