MDJunction to me

Dit"I've been a grateful member here for over 4 yrs this place has changed my life of course for the better, coming to the groups has enabled me to no longer feel so alone. As a group leader for the Bipolar Support group I can relate to others and am expressing my experience strength and hope and this is very rewarding, I've also made many supportive friends here whom I talk to some daily. I used to have a lot of 'lows' since becoming member here at MdJunction I no longer have these lows." (Dit)

Hello everyone! Im new to this group, Im in two other support groups here: Bipolar Type 2, and Anger Management Support.

I am Bipolar who suffers from anger and depression. I have tried a few medicine combos but it just made my disorder worse.

Ive smoked from ages 14 to 18 (22 years old now) and quit cold turkey for a few years. Just recently I started up smoking again which made my bipolar disorder even worse. Also my husband and I didnt like it at all.

I havent had a cigg since April 17th and quit cold turkey this time as well. Its a lot harder this time because of my disorder also because Im not on correction combo for my meds.

I would love some advice and tips on how to keep from smoking! Thanks

Keeping myself involved in my groups like this one is the biggest help I can get. Keeping busy and distracted helps too. I always want to smoke when Im stressed out so Ive been working on my anti stress techniques too.

Its been over one month since Ive had one and I feel better, but not going to lie its still tough!
