My name is Stephanie. I have been smoking for 4 years. I want to quit, very badly. I have taken the steps of going to mytimetoquit.com. Technically I don't want to quit, but I do. I'm sure other smokers understand what i mean. My boyfriend has asthma, he smokes too. He had an asthma attack in late february. I had to give cpr and call the ambulance. I was by his side for 4 days. He had a respirator for 2 of them. This is what jumpstarted my NEED to quit, and his. We went two weeks without smoking after he got out of the hospital. Then his mom's boyfriend got out of jail and showed up, smoking in the house. Aaron (my boyfriend) started smoking right after that and hasn't been able to quit again. It's been really hard. We don't live together and we both have someone else in the house that smokes. His mom's boyfriend and my dad. I hope i can get the support I need from people here. Some tips to help quit would be very appreciated as well. |
