well i had a smoke free weekend, did some yard work and just chilled with my partner!Wink
I am not a doctor, so please don't take my suggestions over those that you would receive from a medical professional.

I wish I had thedesire to quit. Its just like quitting alcohol....ya have to have the desire to quit.
You are not drunk unless you have to hang on while lying on the floor.

Yes, or some other circumstance. For me, it was gastric bypass surgery. One of the surgeons rules was that you had to quit smoking at least 2 weeks prior to your surgery. I decided to quit right away so that if it was really rough I had a little leeway time.

As hard as it was, quitting is the best gift you can give yourself. For those of you on the border I can tell you that I didn't get out of this without some permanent damage; I have emphysema-type COPD.

Two years, eight months, four weeks, one day, 1 hour, 44 minutes and 27 seconds. 35107 cigarettes not smoked, saving $11,409.95. Life saved: 17 weeks, 2 days, 21 hours, 35 minutes.
