Unsure Hi All,

My name is Barbara43, and I have several "disorders" one of them being, not sleeping or when I do sleep, I snore so loud that I believe my wonderful husband of 30+ years, might wish I was awake.

I do have fibromyalgia also, as well as asthma, and a little known condition called Ebstines Bar Syndrome, which basically means I have mononucleosis 24/7/12!! and will have it the rest of my life. How I got EBS is unknown to me or my physician. Everyone else has an EBS blood count of under 100. When this count gets to 75 the physicians begin to worry. My count is 3,886!! So.from what I understand, that was what has led to all my other problems. I hate taking sleeping medicine over the counter and scripts, but sometimes I do.

That is alittle about me, and my problems, and why I would like to be a part of this group, also. I do belong to the Fibromyalgia, and enjoy all the feed back I get, as well as giving some also. Hope to hear from you all soon,

Barbara

Well hello there Ms. Barbara43!

So glad to have you added to our little group. We are small and slow sometimes, but we are growing fast as word gets out.

Snoring is definitely one of the signs of sleep apnea. If you'll look through the thread in the general & support called sleep apnea symptoms you will see what all they are. There is other information there for you as well. Plus I suppose you know already about using the search field up top.

So I'm taking it that you haven't have a sleep study done? There is also some information about how sleep apnea effects fibromyalgia. So please check those out!

If you can relate to any of this, I would suggest you talk to your doctor about having a sleep study done.

So glad to have you here, So a big HELLO and a warm WELCOME from me to you! Hope to see you posting away so we get to know you and you get to know us!

Hi Barbara! Nice to meet you hun. My hubby has sleep apnea. He snores too but I have a very loud fan which keeps me cool and helps me sleep 'cause I don't hear my hubby. Now, I can't sleep unless I have my trusty fan.

I also belong to the fibromyalgia group and INSOMNIA group...hehe. So, if you find that you are awake and want to have fun...I will be at the INSOMNIA group to chat and make you pee in your panties from laughing so hard. Yes, I have no shame. Lol!

Having said that, welcome to this group where my wonderful ducky butt is my friend and is the bestest group leader.

You take care and come back so we can get to know you.

Hey Barbara

perhaps a sleep apnea test might reveal why you snore and if a sleep assist maching (cpap) might help.

Love, Raoul
