Hey everyone. Just checked in.

I've had Basel Cell cancer removed from my face on 3 occasions. The first was on my nose, resulting in a forehead flap reconstruction. The second was on the side of my cheek, left to heal on its own. The third on the other side of my nose, left to heal on its own.

Just recently joined the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome group and saw the skin cancer group and figured I'd join up.

I am 45 year old male and light skinned. Bass fishing is my passion so when I can get away you will find me on the water. That's probably what got me into trouble with my skin cancer - getting too much on the water exposure without proper protection. Well not anymore.

Ya'll take care.

tim sorry to hear about your story. im kinda the same way. i had my first lesion removed. im always outside with my kids. im very fair skinned and always getting burned. with my luck, we live in florida...

my advice would be to not let it run your life. go out, go fishing, catch all the bass you can get and get fat eating them. lol. just be safe, wear a hat and sunscrean...
