I currently take 2000IUs twice a day.

Last year my Vitamin D levels were normal with 2000IUs once a day but I found out that had dropped when I was tested again last August.

I recommend anyone with autoimmune problems to have your levels checked at least twice a year.

My doctor put me on VIT D 500 IU . I bought Vit D3 1000 and cut that in half. I know I dont get enough sun when I drive. I heard the glass blocks the healthy rays and unhealthy rays hit our skin. I forget which is which. Anyways I know there is a product that helps treat the glass so as soon as I find that old site I will be asking my employer for a accomdation.

I have to take 8000 iu/day to keep my vitamin D in the upper end of the range. My vitamin D blood levels are measured every 3 months.

Does your doctor recommend that much IUs? I just found out that when you take your milk with your meat for dinner does cancel your Vit D intake. They recommend you take milk 2hours before taking any meat. Has anyone heard about that? I think I heard it on the dr oz show.

Dreamers - yes, my doctor put me on that much. I can't drink milk - allergic but you should take into consideration any other sources of vitamin D in your diet.

I take 2000IUs 2x a day.

My levels have slowly gone up.

Everyone with AI should take this vitamin and its easy not to forget when you take it with your meals as mine directs.
