Hi, I'm new here i just need some advice. I HAD this best friend who lived a few doors down from me and we were so close. And one day ( I was about 7-8) his mum went out shopping a left me and him with his step dad watching a film. 10 Minutes later my friend went toilet he was gone about 10 mins during that time his step dad came over to me and lifted up my skirt and touched me for a bout 5 minutes he told it was a secret game and if I told anyone I would be sent away. His mum and step dad spit up a few years ago because he was violent and hit my ex best friend in the stomach. He stalked her for a few months but now he's got over it and finally left her alone. I'm 15 now and I know its wrong and I'm scared to tell anyone in case they don't believe me what do I do ???

My best friend got raped a year ago and I feel that there going to think I'm trying to "be Like her" What do I do ??

Thanks.

i'm not sure if there is a statute of limitations where you are at. i know in pennsylvania it's 7 years that you have to report something like..after the 7 years they can't do anything about it.

if you don't already have one, get a therapist and talk about it with her. ask her about the laws, she might know.

Blessed Be, Roze

i am not a dr nor an expert. however i am just a person like yourself just trying to offer support and get support in return.

Sweetie....

Don't be concerned about what other people think...this is about you and what happened to YOU...It is important to tell..

Especially since he is a predator...he is a stalker, violent...and an abuser...

Even if they cannot prosecute him...at least others will know the things that he has done and is capable of doing...

Telling could help to prevent him from doing this to another person...

I know that it would be very hard...but worth it..and it would get this secret off your back...

We are here for you...

Everybody come take my hand
We'll walk this road together, through the storm
Whatever weather, cold or warm
Just let you know that, you're not alone
Holla if you feel that you've been down the same road...
And I just can't keep living this way
So starting today, I'm breaking out of this cage
I'm standing up, Imma face my demons
I'm manning up, Imma hold my ground
I've had enough, now I'm so fed up
Time to put my life back together right now" Eminem Not Afraid
