MDJunction to me

nvrsubtle"Not having any local Bipolar support groups where I live, MDJuntion has given me a place in which people understand what I am going through and has given me a new outlook on life with support that is real and good. Without
the support that I receive from MDJunction, I would be wandering through
life with no one who understands me. I owe so much to MDJunction for giving
me a life line to help get me through the toughest times.

Hi, I'm addicted to porn and masturbation. I do it about 3-4 times a day and I do not have energy for sex. I usually tell my wife I'm tired and don't want sex. She's really upset with me and sometimes cry. She doesn't know what's going on, please help

Strevor, indeed porn addiction is a parasite that latches onto you and sucks the life out of your marriage. It promises pleasure but grows like a disease and consumes more and more of your thoughts, time and money. It steals away your loyalty and your heart from those you love. Marriages rarely survive when such parasites are present and this is why your marriage is on the rocks.

I know so far I've told you nothing you don't already know, but the first thing a General does before going to battle is understand the enemy as well as his capabilities.

Any recovery will be driven by the level of desire in your mind and heart to save your marriage. Obviously, you are not happy with the current situation but you have come here to post your story and that is a huge first step.

Before I go on, I'd like to know several things:

1) How long have you been married?

2) How old are you and your wife?

3) Do the two of you live by yourselves or with someone else?

4) Any kids?

5) Were you ever sexually abused as a child?

6) Have you been diagnosed as bipolar?

7) Has your addiction made you do things you later regret (other than porn)?

8) Have you ever been to therapy?

If you can answer these questions for me, I'll be in a better position to give you some pointers based on my own experience.
