Why wear a ribbon?

"I wear this ribbon because I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome!" (ssswanson)

MDJunction to me

aTinaL"To me, Mdjunction comes down to motivation. The support and information I have found here motivated me to take a very proactive stance regarding my illness. This led me to find medication and doctors that are giving me my life back.
More important than even the motivation, though, is the friendship I have found at MDJ. I have made some of the best friends of my entire life right here in this group. Even though most of us have never met, it feels as if we have known each other for years.
If Angels walk among us, and I believe that they do, most of them are here at MDJ.

"Don't waste your time thinking about what might have been. The past is gone and can't be changed. Make the future what you want it to be."
"We are not Human Beings having a Spiritual Experience...we are Spiritual Beings having a Human Experience"

The past is unchangeable so it is futile to reflect on it unless you are making sure you do not repeat past mistakes. The future is but a result of your actions today. So learn from the past to do better in the present so that you can succeed in the future.

Diagnosis:
Bipolar I
GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder)

Trileptal 300 mg / PM

These are wise words and seem easy enough to follow through with, however it still remains difficult not to have thoughts such as these. I am learning, coping, and growing I hope. You are truly right about the future, we can change that, we just have to make up our minds and committ to a differnet lifestyle and not get off the tracks sooner than planned.

Wise words, absolutely.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

I am just like you and I am on MDJ for support and true friendship. Please, always consult with your doctor about medical advice and medication, never take one's opinion regarding your most precious asset which is your life.
