Self-Injury Support Group

Sexual Assaults have really been in the news lately, especially in NY. And I know we all may be looking at the news, feeling helpless.......like there's nothing we can do. Well, there is a little something we can do, we can show support for those women, and women/men who have been violated all over the world. That's why, i'm asking everybody to help me start Operation Light a Candle. It's simple......everyday, for as much amount a time as you want/can do, light a candle to show support for women/men of sexual crimes everywhere. P.S. If you have a better title, please pm it to me? I want to make a facebook page for this operation, but not until it has a better title.

(I know this isn't the Sexual Abuse group, but this is something everybody can do......I think everybody has a candle in their house, and I think that this would be a REALLY good thing for everybody to do)

I love the idea. Unfortunately I live in a dorm where candles aren't allowed...but that's okay...I'll get one of those battery-operated ones. It's the thought that counts, right? I think many people in this group may have suffered from sexual abuse anyway, including myself, so I think it's fine that you posted here Good luck with this. I would love to be a part of it if you need some help! Just message me! As for a better title, I personally kind of like this one It draws people in because it sounds interesting but it doesn't say what it's about, so they want to find out. That's what happened with me anyway! I hope to see this go far. Big props to you for starting such a thing

That is an awesome idea! I love it! Will start doing that today. My son will love that since he loves to light candles!
